Prof V N Prabhakar, Affiliate Professor of Archaeology at IITGN and former Director of Exploration & Excavation and Institute of Archaeology on the Archaeological Survey of India, will ship the web lectures. As knowledgeable archaeologist, Dr Prabhakar performed excavations at Harappan archaeological websites in Rupnagar (Punjab) and Karanpura (Rajasthan). Earlier, he led the exploration, excavation, conservation and preservation of 166 nationally vital heritage constructions, together with the World Heritage Properties of Ajanta and Ellora Caves. He additionally headed the Institute of Archaeology, ASI’s educational wing, imparting training in archaeology, heritage administration and museology.
